Let me just tack that onto my growing list of wedding expenses. Anyways..I've been super discouraged because for my first consultation to try on dresses (I didn't buy my dress here thank god) my mom mentioned how i was looking to lose weight and the woman goes "all brides say that and they never do"...

Let me just tack that onto my growing list of wedding expenses. Anyways..I've been super discouraged because for my first consultation to try on dresses (I didn't buy my dress here thank god) my mom mentioned how i was looking to lose weight and the woman goes "all brides say that and they never do" and I was highly offended because I'm super serious about it. Well, that got me even more motivated and I've been struggling with it. Yesterday I met with a personal trainer and decided that 4 months of true dedication may get me on the right track and my trainer is super motivated and ready to work with me. These next 4 months are going to be hell, but it'll be so worth it to look the way I want to on my wedding day.

Does anyone else have experience with personal trainers?

I've worked with a personal trainer in the past, but set myself up for failure because didn't focus on what I ate. I started back up with a trainer since Nov. In Nov I lost 12 lbs. Dec I only worked a few times with holidays with her and my eating got side tracked, but I love it. I feel like I'm doing more than I would if I were by myself. I love it.

I struggle a ton with eating, so that will probably be my biggest obstacle throughout this process. Thankfully FH is open to changing the way we eat at home and is willing to try new meals that I've been making out of my WW cookbook. My biggest downfall is the office. There's always some kind of candy around here and vendors send us food all of the time. I can eat super healthy on my own, but when you sit at a desk all day and free food is being thrown at you its hard to resist hah.

Seriously! Everyone just eats all day. Why can't we have vendors send us veggie trays instead of bagels?

May I just say.....I was fired by LA Fitness. Because I sit on the floor while my clients did floor work (abs, arms, legs, etc.). I did so in order to better see their form, and so I could give encouragment without yelling at them. My boss wanted me to stand above them and yell. He thought it would get more attention and would equal more clients. PPSSSSHHHHHHH.

No matter that I had a dozen plank varieties that people LOVED. Nope. Because I wouldn't help him sell.

Wow, see that's the thing I like about my trainer. She doesn't scream at me, but offers encouragement to keep going. I can't believe you were fired for that.

Well, he and I had a history. He lied, stole commissions, etc, and I called him out on those things, eventually to a higher up. He eventually got fired for pushing supplements. Serves him right!!!
