I think weddings are a rite of passage, a symbol that life changes and hopefully for the better. Mothers and father cry because their child has grown up and they are no longer the most important things in that child's life (though they will always be important). Sometimes, change can make us sad.

Tears are also a way of expressing joy - the heart is so full that something has to "leak out" or we feel we will explode I guess. I know I cry about happy things much easier than about sad things so FH always knows when he has made me very happy LOL!

It is a beautiful piece of music.

I don't think weddings are sad, I think people get emotional and they cry. I know I cry when FH does something sweet because I am a sap. I cry a lot of happy tears.

On a different note, that is a beautiful song. I wanted something less traditional, so I won't be using it. It is gorgeous though!

I am using Canon in D for my bridal party. The other day I listened to our music in order and when I got to what I am walking down the isle to I was getting teary-eyed! lol just thinking about having that moment with my Dad and making a promise to my FH in front of all of our friends and family and most importantly God! It's a big deal! I am happy cry-er & never let anyone cry in my precense alone! So we shall see if I can make it down the isle w/o crying all my makeup off...I'm hoping that when I see my FH's face I will just smile & be excited to get down the isle to him! =)

Dunno. But I can tell you I had facial pain at the end of the evening because I didn't stop smiling from about 3pm until midnight.
