FH and I are closing on a house next week. We’re getting married on October 12th. We weren’t planning to buy a house quite yet, but fell in love with a place and took the plunge. It’s all so exciting...but the stress and anxiety are incredibly overwhelming. These are such special moments for FH, but I sometimes get so overwhelmed that I struggle to really feel grateful.

Has anyone else purchased a house while engaged? How did you cope? Or are we only ones bananas enough to do such a thing??? 🤯🤯🤯

Closing went fine, moving was rocky!! All in all we got it done though. Just lost a dryer but that can be replaced. Good luck!

We closed on our house about a month ago! We get married in September! It’s absolutely insane and so stressful, but when the little things all start to come together, it’s so worth it. Seeing your home with your FH come together just raises your excitement and anticipation! Take time to appreciate the small victories and don’t take it all so seriously. Good luck!
