We have rented a house for up to 8 people for the day before through the day after of our wedding. Two of my girls are coming from out of town and are bringing their SOs... they’ve each asked for private rooms for just them and their SOs but aren’t helping out for the payment of the place.... if I gave them each their own room, there would be no private room for my fiancé and I. What should I do?
Me+FH, BM 1+BF, BM 2+BF, BM 3+GM
Room 1 king bed
Room 2 queen bedRoom 3 3 single beds1 queen air mattress.

If I were in your situation, I would definitely use one of the private rooms for myself and my fiancé. Then I would have some sort of game the rest of them could play... winner gets the other private room! At least then it’s fair and they can’t blame you for choosing one couple over another!

I agree with this but then I would also just let them know that if they want privacy, they’re welcome to find a hotel close by to stay in.

Omg....no you get the biggest best room that place has!! I can't believe they would even ask for that! It should be find for them to share a room or a couple of rooms, but its YOUR WEDDING and you DESERVE some privacy with your new husband!!

Is there a dining room, living room or den? If so the air mattress can go in there and everyone has their own room. Otherwise, I second asking them if they would be more comfortable staying at a hotel.

Hi! Yes, there are actually two separate living rooms so more than likely I will tell them to bring an extra air mattress to place in there if they want their own privacy! 😊 thanks everyone for the help 💗

Sounds like it might work better if each couple gets separate accommodation. Are there hotels or other rentals nearby?

Agree that it might be easier for your bridal party to find their own accommodations. I would tell them that they’re welcome to share a room at your lodging or get their own AirBNB / hotel.

Oh no ma’am! Y’all get priority and if someone wants to pay a little extra for a private room, then they can have it. It’s not right for you to have to decide which couple gets a separate room. If anyone has a problem with that, get your own hotel room nearby. Sorry! It just irks me that they’d even ask. (Unless they weren’t aware that there weren’t enough private rooms for everyone.) Lol!

We are getting two houses, one for the guys and one for the girls, and we are leaning towards telling people it's for the wedding party only. Originally we were going to let the SOs stay in the house as well, but that number is just getting too unwieldy, especially on the girls' side (me+ 7 BMs + 2 SO's (so far...) is 10 people!). I hate to be that way but it's just getting out of hand, plus where would we tell the SOs to go in the morning while we got ready? Okay bye, see you later?
If other WP members are paying I would definitely tell your couple friends to contribute. You and FI get the king bed, no question.
