So over planning.

Does anyone else feel burnt out on planning? I'm just so ready to be married and get back to normal life. Everytime someone asks me about what I need to do or what I have left I feel so annoyed and then I feel horrible for being aggravated about it. I just don't wanna hear about it anymore. Anyone...

I think I used up all my steam for the big things (like the venue, catering, photographer, florist, DJ) that now I have smaller decisions to make (veil, favors, decor, shoes, etc.) and I can't get myself to approach any of it with the same veracity or enthusiasm as before. I feel burnt out, but just as excited for the actual wedding day. I just can't find the motivation to make any more decisions about it lol it's even difficult for me to plan cake tastings, which technically speaking should be the most fun part of the planning but I'm just like...deflated. I just want someone else to finish everything for me haha

Planning actually has been fairly easy for me, but my Mom has been a huge help! She lives close to my venue and all the vendors....I am 3 hours away. So she has done a lot for us. With 48 days to go, I am so ready for the big day to see our vision all come together, get married to my love and enjoy the time with our family and friends!

I have just over a month left, and I am so overwhelmed. I want to be done planning and be married, and I know it will be here fast. But I feel like I have so much left to do I wish I could slow down time!

Girl. YES! I am right there with ya. I have 3 months left to go. By the time we get married, we will be engaged for over a year and a half. I am beyond ready to get back to normal life with no planning. I feel like part of me will miss the wedding planning but not too long and hopefully we will have baby planning to start lol

It is totally normal to be burnt out! I often remind my clients what the day is all about...the ceremony, the nuptials...that's all you need to focus on. If the little details start to bog you down, focus on the bigger picture. At the end of the day, that is all that truly matters. Hang in there! Everything will be OK. Smiley smile

Honestly. I'm enjoying it so much. I don't see a lot of FH, we have very opposite schedules. I don't have many close friends outside of work. My family and I don't live super close. It keeps me busy. I don't talk about it to other people. But it's nice to be brainstorming when I'm alone.

I have over a year and I'm already feeling like that. Lol.

I just want the big things to be done. Main ones I have left are dj, photographer, and florist. After that I'll be good to sail for a while without planning.

Literally having melt downs every other day... Just ready to marry my FH... Tired of planning, tired of the let downs, tired of late RSVPs, table seating, just hoping I'd be happy, smiling but I guess that's for the honeymoon

I haven't even planned yet but I'm super tired of everyone asking when the big day is! I regret telling people I was engaged

I just got engaged last month and I'm already over it, it took me a month just to pick colors..for the most part it's been cute but I feel like I'm all over the place with plans and it definitely doesn't help that I procrastinate, always have always will. The only major thing that is locked is the hall but as time goes on I'm having second thoughts on that...it'll get better

So. Over. It. I'm tired from working so hard picking up extra shifts to pay for this thing. FH is tired, too. Tired of dealing with family stuff, tired of the coordinating, tired of answering questions I don't want to answer... just want to marry FH. So much. Seriously considering secretly getting married before hand, lol, but I worry that people would get pissy.

And I'm tired of worrying about people getting pissy about things that don't concern then! Bah. September 30 can't come fast enough, and at the same time is coming too quickly (still need the time to pay the caterer, lol).

I actually love planning and it gives me something to do (Like play on WW during work haha), but it is kind of taking over my brain. All I can think about is plan plan plan, decorations, dress, buy this, remember this. I am constantly excited/nervous and stressed! It keeps things fun and exciting but I wish my brain would calmmmmm down for two seconds!

AMEN! I'm ready to have my weekends back. Our wedding is in my hometown (an hour from where we live) and I've gone up there almost every weekend for the last three months doing different things. I am so over it.

I've been over it from day one. I am not someone who cares about insignificant crap and pretty much every aesthetic detail about a wedding falls into that category for me. Unfortunately those things have to be planned. Plus I hate talking to people. And that's another thing that has to be done during wedding planning. I've dealt with it for the most part but, I really hit an IDGAF phase mid July and went MIA from planning for a few weeks. We went on vacation and I came back refreshed. Had to bust my ass but I am caught up from those couple of weeks I sat on my butt.

You are in the home stretch. Keep reminding yourself that you have a very small amount of time left to be hearing about it or dealing with it. You totally got this!
