Hi! My FH is a woodworker so I decided to go with wood flowers as a nod to him. I wasn’t sure I would be able to pull it off but I started dying them this weekend and while I still have a lot of work ahead of me I am proud of what I got done and wanted to share.

My Sola Wood Flower experience was great!! I randomly saw an ad for them one day and started looking at their website. At the time, I didn't realize how often their sales were so when I saw the bouquets I wanted at 60% off, I didn't want to miss the opportunity and ordered immediately! I went in blind, but I'm so glad I took a leap of faith because the flowers turned out incredible!
The process was certainly TIME CONSUMING. I watched one video on dying and one video on arranging and that was really all I had to go off of for creating the bouquets. I expected the company to include some instruction, but there honestly was none. Once I got a hang on how much paint and water to use to get each color how I wanted, it was an easy process. I had never arranged flowers before, so putting the bouquets (and boutonnieres and corsages) together took some trial and error.
Now that they're finished and sitting in a spare room for storage, the flowers really smell unpleasant!! Has anyone used solawoodflowers.com scented drops or any essential oils to give their sola wood flowers scent?? I'd love to know how much you used, how well it held up, and if it affected the appearance of the flowers!
