Sola wood flowers

Opinions on sola wood flowers? I was hoping to save a little bit of money. I think they are a good alternative and they will last/not die. I found one that I thought I liked, sent out picture of it to a few people for opinions seeing if they looked too fake as in badly fake and someone said yes, so now I am second guessing myself. It isn't cheap and nonrefundable so it's not like I can buy it and send it back if I don't like it. Looking for other opinions

    Other ones I liked include these... although the first one above was my favorite. Main color is plum purple

    Those are lovely, the last one is my favorite! I don't necessarily think anyone will think they are real flowers but thats ok they are still beautiful and something different, what's nice is you can keep them in your home after the wedding. What a sweet keepsake that would be! If you and your partner love them don't worry about everyone else's opinion. The thing I m always curious about with wooden flowers is the weight, living flower bouquets can get heavy, how much heavier are the wooden ones I wonder. Do what works for you!

    I think your preference is the most important think. The keepsake bouquet is pretty special. I am thinking of going with real touch silk but have also given much thought to the wooden bouquets as well. The last one is my favorite.

    Do you want people to think they’re real? I don’t think it really matters if they look fake tbh. I got fake flowers for all our bridal party. Everything in these photos are Sola flowers except obviously the burlap flowers in the smaller bouquet

    Are you buying them pre-made or going DIY? I bought mine with the intention of doing them myself, and my florist friend ended up doing them for me, and we had to add a ton of greenery to make them look good. If its for DIY, then buy plenty of greenery and don't wait until the last minute. If you are getting them pre-made, I say they are probably worth it!

    I like the last one best too. I think I was talked out of it. My colors are plum, lavender, and green. I felt like it had enough purple in it to tie together my colors bit added a little extra color too.

    Oh I wish I had the time/patience to do it diy, but I would be too worried I couldn't make it look good enough so I would be buying it pre-made if I do the wooden ones

    Well I think the ones you've shared pics of are all beautiful! And I don't think they look bad, I love how mine turned out, it was just a lot of work for my flower lady to get them how she wanted. And I plan on keeping my bouquet and putting it in a vase at our new house when it's done! I'm very glad I went with sola Smiley smile

    I’m using sola wood, I dyed and put everything together. It’s a great alternative and definitely saves money! I say go for it! Real flowers are pretty but they’re so expensive for one day
