Soldered rings? Or loose rings? Lets see your ring!

I will be sending my ring in prob next week. not sure how long it takes but I need it back before the wedding, lol. I will wear it when it comes back till the wedding too.

Mine only took a day!! FH is letting me wear it on occasion. Today is one of those occasions!

I didn't really have a choice not to solder. They don't look quite right when they aren't soldered, plus I will always wear them together. They can still be seperated when FH and I choose to upgrade my center.

Mine isn't, but my mom's was (and now I wear it on my right hand). My sister hated that my mom soldered it, but I love how it looks.

Ashley - are you planning on selling your ring? I don't care about mine ever losing its value because I don't plan on selling it!

I am with you kayla, mine will look better soldered. I know mine will take longer than a day since they have to send it off site.

@Jessica- the jewelry store here has to send them out, and their work is terrible so I drove an hour to one of the riddle's in the area

We do plan on upgrading. And the store that we purchased through said that it won't affect the value at all.

Ahh. Upgrading never crossed my mind. We don't do upgrades in our family. Regardless of what they look like, the women in my family embraced their engagement rings. If upgrading means selling the original, then that's a big hell no for me!

There are times that I don't wear my engagement ring, but always wear my wedding band. I like having that option, so never got them soldered.

My wedding ring is an eternity band, so I don't have to worry about it turning out of position with my engagement ring.

Loose rings for me! I'll be working as a nurse and my engagement ring is always getting stuck especially in gloves, so I plan on just wearing my band when I work.

I am excited to see this- I was just talking to FH about this. I had planned to solder before the wedding, but I am wondering if maybe I will wait till we get back from the HM to solder.

Are you guys all soldering before? or are some of you waiting a bit?

I just got mine soldered. And the wedding is in 27 days.

Since my rings have to fit together to look right, I think I will be soldering them together after the wedding!

I plan to solder mine but even though it was bought as a set and we have my wedding band, i have not tried it on! i wanted to solder them before the wedding but would hate to not wear my ring for a while.

Mine aren't soldered and I have 2 wedding bands. They spin around from time to time but no big deal. If over time they start to wear down from rubbing against one another, I will get them soldered but I don't really want to. I like the idea of being able to wear them in all types of different ways.

My rings are not soldered. I wanted the option of being able to wear my band even when I might not want to wear my ering!
