I'm just wanting to make sure that there aren't things that i have failed to think of before i get all three rings put together forever, lol. Thanks in advance.

I plan to get mine soldered just because my ban tends to turn around a lot plus i don't like wearing it by itself.

I didn't and don't plan to get my soldered. I like the option of wearing my wedding band alone if I want to or wearing my engagement ring on my right hand if I feel like it. I can take one in to get it cleaned, polished, redipped, or resized and not have to be "naked" because I'll still have something to wear in the meantime. My engagement ring also has a design on the profile so if I got it soldered I would lose that if I ever wanted to undo it. One issue is that if they are soldered and something happens, like you lose your ring, you'll have definitely lost both and that would suck if you never found them again, whereas the probability of losing both rings (unsoldered) at once is a bit less (though of course still possible).

However, my aunt got hers soldered years ago and she said she wouldn't have it any other way. So I think it's a totally personal decision.

I'm not soldering mine mainly because I deem it unnecessary, but also because it is an heirloom that I don't want to change in any way, and because I don't want to be limited to always wearing them together.

I'm going back and forth on this. I've really wanted to be able to wear it separate because it might be too big for my liking but mine is a set and the wedding band is oddly shaped. I'll probably wear it for a year or so and then decide.
