I made the boutainaires, corsages, and bouquets for my own wedding. I found it relatively easy for hand tied arrangements. I did them with silk flowers for our wedding just in case I needed a long time to do them since I had never done them before. With our reaffirmation of vows coming up I decided I really wanted to make some fresh flower arrangements. My plan right now is to create a nosegay in similar colors of my headpiece. I got to practice over the weekend for my son's homecoming dance. I made him a little boutainaire and a nosegay for him to give to a special girl from flowers in my garden. The kids loved them! If you're thinking of DIY'ing your flowers do it! It's not as hard as it seems!
