My cousin (27 years old) wanted her boyfriend to come. So she got her mom to call me and I wanted to avoid drama as I have other stuff to worry about so I was like "whatever"

Then my other cousin (34 years old) was upset that she wasn't invited (we haven't spoke since I was like.......5 years old?) my aunt guilted my mom into asking me and once again I was like whatever.

They are both old enough to just let it go....or ask me themselves?

Here I am just trying to finish my planning and don't feel like hearing people complain they weren't invited that I haven't spoke to in years? Ugh.

I HATE this. Especially from a coworker. At first I was feeling bad and even considering inviting someone I hardly talk too. Now I just laugh and walk away. Like what do you say to a question like that?

We’ve had a couple of friends—that we didn’t really want to invite—ask us when our wedding date is so “they can make sure they’re free that day”...... My FH and I have also been guilted into inviting people we’re not super close to because we didn’t know how to say no 🤷‍♀️
