Song length

As a processional song? I don't think most songs go the whole time, they haven't in the last 3 weddings I've been to. You can work with whoever is providing your ceremony music and sound to either cut the song just to the parts you like, or end the music when you get to FS.

Can you walk to a snippet of the song? Thats what I plan on doing. Also I'm not sure how long your ceremony is, but most are about 30 minutes. That may seem like a decent amount of time, but it will fly by as will the reception, and its important to make sure that your whole day runs smoothly time wise.

I think the song I picked fir walking down the aisle was over 4 minutes long. Our DJ just faded it out after I got down the aisle.

Yea...my song is about 4 minutes...i'll let about 30 seconds of the song play prior to my entrance but after that im down the aisle and the music will fade away. I've never heard a whole song play ever

I agree with pp, any good DJ can make it work the way you want it to by fading the song out as you reach the alter

The DJ will defiantly fade it out, you don't have to walk the whole length of the song.
