I used the ww website and there was an option to include song request section on the page. Only two people requested songs via the website....oh well Smiley smile

I attended a wedding where the bride and groom asked guests to request songs ahead if time. It was highly discussed at dinner and everyone thought it was such a cool idea.

Until the DJ didn't play any of the requested songs, other than one requested by the bride's sister.

ETA to actually answer your question, though, there was an embedded form on their website that was linked with their DJ's website. Like hosted from his business page but accessible from their wedding website.

Hi sasha! Adding a song request page to your WW website is easy!

Once you have the website editor open:

    - Under your list of pages click 'Add Page'

    - Check the box under 'Create Your Own'

    - Click 'Add Selected Pages'

    - Select the 'Reception Music Request' tile

    - A pop up will appear to show how to export a list of your requests in the future

I think I'd let my Dj do their thing, honestly.

I went to a wedding recently where they had song request line on the rsvp card.

We also put song request cards out on the cocktail tables, bar area, etc. during the reception. A few people used them. Just made it a little easier to write a request to the DJ instead of shouting. I found the template online somewhere, looked like a cassette tape.

I tried doing this today and couldn’t find the “create your own” tab. Has this feature been removed? I would love to find a way to add this to my site!

Hi Naudy! These instructions are for our old wedding websites, the new website format does not have a specific song request page that you can add.

However - you can add a text prompt on your Guestbook or RSVP page asking your guests to submit a song request! Both the guestbook posts and online RSVP process include open text fields for your guests, so those are both place they could include song requests.
