Songs for dj

I'm letting my DJ do his own thing, he's been a DJ for awhile so he knows how to read a crowd. Obviously he will be given the first dance song etc but other than that he can do his own thing

Same as PP. I gave him my list of important songs (first dance, parent dances) and he asked me for a list of songs I like and had me fill out a sheet about all the types of music I listen to. If you are working with a dj who is a professional they will be able to read the vibe of the crowd and play what keeps everyone dancing

Giving the dj a list of must haves and genres (they ask what you want for spotlight events). Then trust them to read the crowd

Our DJ had a software system where we could submit our playlists/song requests. It had sections for Must Play, Play if Possible, Do Not Play, and Special Songs (first dance, processional, parent child dances, cake cutting, etc). We gave a lot of guidance and it worked really well!

We're giving a reasonable list of must-play songs but letting our DJ do what they do best!

I will ask them to play certain songs, artists, and genres and hope they fill out to please the crowd. I'll also ask them to not play certain things like country.

We're giving a list of our special songs, some requests (songs/genres) etc but we know our DJ personally (he & his wife are guests as well) so we trust him to keep the party flowing, we've seen him DJ many times too.
