Cassandra, on May 29, 2018 at 2:59 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 3

I'm getting married September 22 2018 and I need to send my DJ a list of the songs I want to be played and when I want them played. I was wondering what all I needed a song for... I have a list of some but I want to make sure I'm not leaving anything out.

Wedding party entrance song (at ceremony)

Bride entrance song (at ceremony)

First dance song

Bride and father dance song

Groom and mother song

Garter removal song? Need ideas

Bouquet toss song: Need ideas

and please let me know if there are any other songs I will need that I have left out.

You will need about 30 minutes of music playing before the ceremony as your guests arrive. This is called prelude music. Are you doing a unity ceremony? If so, you will probably want some music playing during this time. You will also need a song to play at the end of the ceremony when you and your husband walk back down the aisle followed by the rest of your wedding party. This is called the recessional.
