It’s basically a fact of life that most men in America are circumcised for non-religious reasons. But what does it really do? I've had some conversations with men who have claimed that the removal of the foreskin lessens sensitivity in men, making it harder to achieve pleasure. These men likened the removal of the foreskin to the removal of a female's clitoris.

Typically, the idea that removing the foreskin –thus making orgasm harder to reach – would be good for the woman (giving her more time to reach climax). But I’ve recently read an article that claims the exact opposite!

Statistically, a large percentage of women are shown to have 'Female arousal disorder’ – but there are being studies done that are now claiming that women don’t really have 'Female arousal disorder,’ but instead are having “a normal female response to coitus with a man with an iatrogenically [doctor caused] deficient penis."

God gave us a perfectly functioning penis and we go cut it up so that it can "look pretty

So by your rationale woman shouldn't wear makeup, get piercings, get plastic surgery (especilly to correct a defect"GOD" might have caused, etc. Makes 0 sense to me, sorry.

Anteater is a little harsh. There is no reason to judge someone for how their genitals look. But I once saw a picture of an uncircumcised man who made his junk look like ALF =P

@Marcy - you are sounding more and more ignorant the more you type. I am assuming that you aren't as ignorant as you sound...but I don't know you so I can't assume.

...because I'd hate to think anyone would type this as a serious thought.

Sorry I really didn't mean for the "ant eater" to be harsh. I mentioned the topic to my hubby and he laughed because one of his basketball buddies in high school was uncircumsized. He said he got his name cuz when it was shower time one of the guys said "I aint gay or anything but that thing looks like an ant eater bro" They called him that after and his friend never took offense to it but laughed.

I hate to retype everything I put in the other thread, which MrsJ thoughtfully linked, but I will say this: circumcision is ARGUABLY a public health measure in areas where HIV rates are very high and rates of condom use are relatively very low, neither of which apply to the mainstream United States. Uncircumcised penises do not require special care, only basic hygiene, to prevent infection.

Please try not to spread misinformation.

I do have a friend who got... Thrush? Or something similar between his shaft and foreskin, but he wasn't taught how to properly clean.

It's just like anything else we're supposed to be hygienic about.
