sos Website Help!

Elise, on February 18, 2021 at 8:10 PM Posted in Account Support 0 10

Hi y'all! So I am deep in the planning process and figured I'd work on my website some. I started my registry and connected it to the website here. When I go to my website though to put it on there, there's a big white box that says "This site contains affiliate links to products. We may receive a commission for purchases made through these links." Anyone know how to get rid of that???

I don't think you can. If you're not far in the process, I'd advise using another site. Wedding wire has several annoying "glitches" such as the one your seeing. You can search the forums to see examples. I'm only continuing to use WW because I already sent the link out to my guests.

Are you using WW? Because many have said they have countless glitches and use Withjoy.com or wix.com instead

I have been so far. I love how much you can do with it with the replies and budget and stuff. It really encompasses everything. That box has been the only glitch I've had so far. I'll check out those other ones though

I haven't done much with invitations or the website. I just started working on it and saw this. Might check out some other options

If you haven't already sent out your website link to guests, I'd recommend using the Knot or Zola. Wedding Wire is great with these forums but there are so many glitches with the websites. The Knot in particular is super user friendly, especially if you plan on doing online RSVPs

    I second this!

Our website is through Zola and we've had zero problems! Their planning tool/checklist is awesome as well! Zola's platform is suuuper easy to use with no glitches!

I had issues a long time when I was planning with my ex. When I tried going back to make a new one this time, it like blocked me or something. Pretty great that you've only had one issue since dealing with WW. This time around, I used Wix and have no regrets.

    Hello Elise!

Unfortunately, removing that box is not an option that we have at this time. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support Team at help@weddingwire.com
