Every venue that I have viewed thus far is booked for fall of 2023. The ones that weren’t aren’t making me feel that whimsical spark or they’re just too far away for us to even view.


*Looking for a venue close/closeish to Bethlehem*

My FH & I don’t want to have to wait until 2024 to have our fall wedding but it looks like I’m going to have to resolve to that.
Should I wait until 2024 or keep trying?
Also my parents are not involved & we do not have family that’s in the state we live in.
(Stating this due to needing advice,help hunting in person ,etc. not about money….)
So the stress is very high. SOS!!!!

    Look for non-traditional wedding venues. Parks, hotel ballrooms, restaurant private dining rooms, etc.

    Fall has become a super popular wedding season. We had to go with a 2 year engagement instead of one because we could only find 1 venue and were worried about finding other vendors. As Samantha said, you can look for alternative venues if you're willing to possibly tweak your vision some to get it in. Otherwise you might just want to wait for 2024 which will give you more control over everything because more vendors will be available.

    Wilmington is like an hour and a half from Bethlehem, does that work? You won't find a better fall wedding venue.

    Of course do what makes you happy! But for me, having a long engagement has made it all really fun and I got to be a fiancée for a little extra long. 😅 I haven't had to be stressed because I've had time for everything and did a good job of spacing it out so I wasn't overwhelmed with planning and work. But otherwise, if you really want 2023, all the best to you! 😊❤

    My In laws live in Bethlehem! I'm guessing Hotel Bethlehem is booked for the year... would you consider Moravian College? Their campus is so beautiful https://www.moravian.edu/eventmanagement/external

    Look outside the box. There are countless options available when you step outside of wedding venues lists. Take a look at the parks department owned venues. Eventective.com or peerspace.com have event spaces in your area to rent for any occasion.

    Glasbern Inn https://www.glasbern.com/ we've been to 2 weddings here
