We did ours at my parent’s cabin in the woods!

We took our engagement photos in the same location we’ll take our wedding photos! This was one of my favorites.

This isn’t our official engagement session, but it was the moment we got engaged! We walked around Lake Michigan in Chicago by the Planetarium at sunrise and he proposed. The pictures we got from that time are stunning (if I may say so myself lol).

We are getting married in December, so we took some pictures in all the Christmas lights! ❤️

We did ours in the fall in Boulder

We did some fancy and some more casual. I personally think the casual ones are way more us, but love that we did both!

Just a few 😉 of my favorites from our session. I love our photographer. We were along the turtle river in ND. We did two outfits jeans and Tshirts (with plaid over shirts) and then I wore a dress and he changed into a polo. The pink in my dress is sort of one of my wedding colors but we went for color/ clothes we liked and thought would look good for the local.

Not from Maryland (sorry!) but your photographer should have locations scouted that they normally use, or at least that’s how ours was! Otherwise I’d say you yourself google or even drive around and see if you find anything you like! We did ours in a popular spot in OKC and then also down at a local lake. The locations were like 10 mins apart which was awesome and allowed us to get two different “styles” of photos! So keep that in mind if you want to get photos that aren’t in the same environment.

We did ours in March, which was decently cold here in Oklahoma so we dressed according to that (& I even still froze since I didn’t want to layer or wear a jacket lol). So just look for clothes inspiration for the same weather you’re planning to shoot in!

We just went to a local park that had some different lanscapes.
