I think they make for amazing pictures and would have loved to have a grand entrance photo like this but our venue has a strict *no fireworks * policy

Our photographers told us that getting photos of these if you do it as a real exit are next to impossible, so they suggested pulling us and the bridal party aside for a FAKE exit, which i didnt love the idea of... Many venues are strict about it because wedding + alcohol + fire sticks, not good. I think this trend is cute, but may have run its course. I say sparklers, OUT.

I'm not really into it but I literally couldn't do this anywhere. I'm staying in the Inn at my venue so I'm not having a grand exit haha.

Out, and overdone. I was in 2 weddings that did this, and as a guest, it was more of a pain. Getting everyone lined up right for the photo, getting everyone outside in the first place (after people have been drinking). And if your photographer is scheduled to leave before your party is over, then you have to stop the party to stage the exit.

Well sparklers are considered fireworks and technically are illegal in our state so... While most of the state doesnt really enforce it if people arent being stupid about them, our city is really strict and does. I dont want to get any one arrested for possession of fireworks for our wedding so definitely not doing this. BUT we will do a reverse send off and at the end of the night we will say goodbye to everyone as they are heading into the elevator and then have a private last last dance once everyone is gone but us.

I love how this looks in photos and I really considered the idea. However, we are hosting an open bar so the last thing I want to do is hand over a sparkler to a buzzed, to seriously intoxicated wedding guest for a photo op. I just don't want any accidents. And the FH wants to extend pur reception time at the venue so we have plenty of time with our guest.
