I would say that they are overrated with respect to how much they are done, but definietly also underrated because the photos are gorgeous!!

I/m getting married on New Years Eve and would love them....unfortunately they are prohibited at my venue. You also have to be careful if photographed wrong they tend to look cheesy.

Little of both. Beautiful photos but a plain to set up & alot of place won't allow it anymore.

Overrated, I see them far too often. It’s not even an option for us where we want to have our reception and we’re not planning to have our photographer stay the whole night to cut costs.

Both! I think they are definitely played out, but that isn't stopping me from doing it at my wedding! Also, the pictures are so cute!

Overrated. I think they make for good pictures (if everything comes together correctly) but I've been to a wedding with one and it took forever for everyone to get their lit and be ready for the couple to walk through. I would have rather kept dancing.

I think underrated! I love sparklers! We have to clean up the venue at the end of the night so we aren't doing a send off or i'd definitely do it

Underrated! I know they are done a lot but they are super cute. When I participated in one I had so much fun and the pictures looked wonderful.
