Sparkler Send Offs: Overrated or Underrated?

I think they are a bit overrated. I want one tho. I’m just noticing as I’m deciding what I want and don’t want some venues don’t allow for this option😩

I find it adorable if you in fact have the photographers there all night which can be quiet pricey. Don’t like when the send off is faked just after 8 pm for the pictures.

Overrated. Sparklers are illegal in my town so we don't get them for an option even if we wanted to use them.

We're getting married in a historical building so there's no confetti, dried flowers, or sparklers allowed. I really wanted some for the send-off, but it's not a huge deal.

I’m torn lol. I feel like a lot of people are doing it but I still think it leads to beautiful pictures!

Extremely overrated - by the time you round up all of your guests, you're looking at wasting 15+ minutes of their time just to get a picture

They are done a lot because the pictures look amazing.

Overrated because they're so popular, but I do love the photos and we're considering one. Our issue is that our photographer won't be staying until the very end of our reception so we'd have to a "fake send off" in the middle of our reception which makes it way less appealing. Instead we're also considering doing a confetti or rose petal or something "exit" as we come back down the aisle after we get married! I've seen those photos look gorgeous as well!

I guess they're pretty overrated since most people like to have something like this. Personally I love the photos that come out with them, and I might have that at my own wedding.

Overrated. It is great for a photo op, but I plan to be the last one on the dance floor and don't want a "send-off" at all.

They are not particularly fun to set up. And I hate things staged just for pictures. Pick some time other than your wedding to make a movie or manufacture pictures. And let wedding pictures be about the wedding and crowd as things naturally happen, not staged stuff. Never liked bouquet and garter toss for the same reason. Be glad when this overrated trend dies.

Underrated, I can't wait for the sparkler sendoff, we are adding glow sticks and fireworks too.

Although I love the idea of sparklers and how they look in photos, I would still say it's overrated.

I'm not sure. It fits some send offs, others I wouldn't say it fits.
