Speaker to use for aisle music and arrival music...help

We have a band playing at the wedding party but am looking for a speaker to use to just play the music whilst bride walks down the aisle and while people arrive at the wedding

    Is your band able to do that? We hired a band for the reception and for a few hundred dollars extra, they DJ the ceremony and set up speakers.

    The earliest they arrive is 3pm and the ceremony is at 2pm which is annoying

    Can you hire any of the members of the band to perform the music for your ceremony? The band I used for my reception offered this for an additional fee per musician but I chose to hire string musicians instead.

    How big of a speaker are you looking for, Dan? If you can't borrow one from your wedding band, you can always check the event rentals vendors in the WeddingWire vendor directory. Depending on what area you're in, you might be able to find one to rent. Smiley smile

    If push comes to shove, you could always get a Bluetooth speaker off of Amazon. They run somewhere around $25 to $100 and, depending on how large your venue is, can really fill the room with music. Plus, you can use it after the wedding! Smiley smile

    We didn't have any arrival music when we came into the room. The music was turned down really low.
