I’d love to hear who the special person is that is waking you down the aisle. For those of you walking yourself down the aisle I love that you have chosen to do that. For me it was my second marriage and I wanted my only son to walk me down the aisle. He was so honored to do that for me and my daughter was my MOH so it was such a special way to include my adult children in my wedding day. cfb_1428675.jpg

    Unfortunately, my father passed away 2 years ago. I am trying to convince my 8 year-old son to walk me down the aisle. I just mentioned on another thread that he only likes being the center of attention on his terms, so I'm not sure how it'll work out! If he isn't comfortable, I may ask my younger brother. My older brother won't be able to travel from out of state due to COVID, otherwise I would ask them both.

    My stepdad walked me. You can see the beaming smile under his mask. My dad and I have a complicated history, so it's nice that the two ceremonies means I got to walk down with the person that I personally wanted. He was really a huge help the whole day and super honored to be part of it.

    My mom is walking me down. I lost my dad 21 years ago, then my grandpa 3 years ago, my stepdad almost 2 years ago.

    Hey Ladies,

    My mom got married when I was 2 and I got 2 sisters and a brother that I don't even consider as steps - we're siblings period. But my brother will be my escort, instead of my dad because I wanted my sister to have the honor of their dad to walk her down the aisle.
