Special scent?

I plan on finding out which one of my perfumes my fh likes best and wearing that one lol. His options are mon paris, ariana grande thank you next and victoria secrets so sexy. I love them all so I dont care which lol.

I never wear wear perfume, so I didn't on the wedding day either. However, if you like to, I would think of whether you like fruitier scents, warmer scents, etc. Perfume smells differently on everyone as it reacts with your body chemistry, so it's always best to try some on before committing to it.

Go to a local Sephora or Bath and Body Works to see what works with your chemistry.

I asked him pick me one out for Christmas. I absolutely love it.

I’m planning on finding one to wear! I love the idea of having the bottle in my details photos. Plus anytime I wear the scent afterwards will feel so special. I had originally planned on purchasing scentbird for a few months to test some scents out but decided it was not a necessary expense. I did find a scent I liked at Kohl’s but I’m also gonna check out Sephora.

Buying a perfume specifically for your wedding seems like a completely unnecessary way to inflate your wedding budget, but I don't usually wear perfumes so its not my thing. If you typically put on perfume for daily life or special events, and often mix up the scents you use, then getting a new scent for your day could be fun. Otherwise it seems like an expense/worry that is not worth the time.

I have always attached scents with memories, so I really wanted something special for that day. My mom and cousin (a lot like a sister) picked me out Unconditional Love by Philosphy. My mom gave it to me when she gave me a necklace and earring set to wear for my wedding as well. It was so sweet and thoughtful. She knew that I really wanted to do it, and had not had time to pick one out since we had to replan everything in the last few weeks due to covid. I definitely recommend doing it. I only wear it on occasion now (like this weekend when we did Anniversary pictures), and it makes me so happy

I just wore my favorite because I didn’t want my new spouse to NOT like my perfume on our wedding day. 😆

We're doing this! It's a nice date-day activity too - wandering around a department store and finding something you both like.

I also attach memory to scents, so I really wanted something new and special. I'm also going to have the bottle engraved.

I've chosen Chanel Mademoiselle, partly because it's not really like any other scents I own, but also because the colour suits our colour scheme for photos, lol!

I'm going to wear the perfume I wore on our first date, Tocca's Cleopatra. FH and I are getting dressed/ready together so he can choose where to apply it (it's a rollerball)

As others have already said, it is definitely worth it if you are the type that enjoys recalling memories with smells. It is a really small but thoughtful idea. My FH is really sensitive to certain scents so I may try to find a perfume with him or use my remaining stash of Capri Seaside Citrus from B&BW. It reminds us both of when we first started dating but sadly it was discontinued years ago.

I don't usually wear perfume but my FH and I both love Bath & Body Works lotions (I have bought a number just for him to use). I am planning to see if they have one in their aromatherapy line that uses rosemary. If not, I will look for an essential oil and use that in place of perfume. We are using fresh rosemary in the florals and table arrangements and it is a scent I associate with him and I cooking together.


Also, my dad is incredibly allergic to most floral scents. We are quite close and I don't want him wheezing while he walks me down the aisle!

I've started wearing fragrances by Kensie. I love their perfume So Pretty. It's how I feel when I wear it, so it may be the winner come October.
