Do you have any special pieces of wedding jewelry you are planning to wear or wore for your wedding? I'd love to see your pictures! I'm sharing a picture of a charm I plan to wear for mine. I'm sharing a picture of a charm I plan to wear for mine. My late mother wore it when she married my late father in 1966. I am on the hunt for just the right necklace to place it it. I has matching earrings but sadly I have no idea what happened to those. It's my something old, and since my parents can't be with me that day in person this is my way of having them there. My something blue is one of my dad's military medals I plan to pin on my bouquet or under my dress.

My grandmas engagement/wedding rings 💕 her ring actually looks super similar to mine, but in yellow gold instead of white. FH had no idea when he picked my ring out. I miss her so much and wish she could be here for my wedding day.

I understand that totally, that's why i'm wearing my mom's charm and dad's medal. I miss my grandma too, we were very close, so I picked what would have been her 100th birthday as my wedding date

So Special!! I have my great-great-grandmother's engagement ring and will have her wedding band as well. I am "borrowing" the necklace she got as a gift for their 50th wedding anniversary! it is currently in my grandma's possession. It is dainty and timeless and will be perfect with my off the shoulder dress.

I was thinking of letting FH surprise me with my something blue and new as a wedding gift? But i dont know if thats frowned upon haha

Love this! I'm still debating what I'm doing for jewelry. I may wear the pearl necklace my parents got me for my 8th grade graduation. I, also, may wear this beautiful tanzanite ring my mom has on my right side ring finger for my something blue. My dad brought it back from Tanzania, Africa for my mom when I was younger!

I'm wearing a sapphire ring my late Grandfather gave to my Grandmother for their 25th anniversary and then to me on my 16th birthday. It will also be my something blue.

Late grandma’s necklace, it was a piece of jewelry left only for me while my aunts squabbled over the rest of her jewelry. She traveled a lot, had a lot of beautiful pieces from Japan in the 20s she collected. I don’t know how old my necklace is or who designed it, just that it’s a strand of Akoya pearls with an 18k gold clasp with a diamond and sapphire flower. I wore it on my first date to FH, it’s my lucky necklace!

I thought about wearing my promise ring too but it’s going to be displayed at the reception. It’s a solid Jade ring with a mossy green and white color, no pic at the moment, gotta drag it out again.

Thanks! My awful aunts tried to take that too, my sweet natured mom actually got in their faces about it. They showed up very night my grandma died already going through her stuff. In a way the memory of her is tainted by their greed but I’ve loved that necklace since I was a little girl. My grandma used to let me play with it and wear it for Easter. I guess that’s why she wanted me to have it.

It's sad when death brings that out in people. Happened recently when my FH's sister died last fall. Some of the family was moving stuff out of her house before she even died..she was in the hospital.

That’s so disrespectful. People are worth more than stuff. 😞
