Do you have any special pieces of wedding jewelry you are planning to wear or wore for your wedding? I'd love to see your pictures! I'm sharing a picture of a charm I plan to wear for mine. I'm sharing a picture of a charm I plan to wear for mine. My late mother wore it when she married my late father in 1966. I am on the hunt for just the right necklace to place it it. I has matching earrings but sadly I have no idea what happened to those. It's my something old, and since my parents can't be with me that day in person this is my way of having them there. My something blue is one of my dad's military medals I plan to pin on my bouquet or under my dress.

No new jewelry for me! Everything I'm wearing is either a family heirloom, like my great grandmother's pearls or it was a gift from my FH, like the earrings he gave me for our first anniversary. I'm a very sentimental person and I want everything to be meaningful to us.

That’s great. Your charm is beautiful. I do think it’s more special than buying something.

For my old, I’m going to wear a pretty pearl and diamond ring of my mother’s who passed away 5 years ago. She received it from her dad (my favorite grandparent) when she graduated high school and it fits my right hand ring finger perfectly.

For my blue, I’m tying a silver and blue topaz ring to my bouquet. My dad got my mom, my four sisters and myself each one for Mom’s last Christmas. It isn’t really my style so I don’t wear it, but I am glad I can finally get it out of the box.

I have known since I was 14 years old that I would be wearing my late grandmother’s bracelet. It gives me comfort knowing that I’ll have something from her on my wedding day even though she won’t be there.

I'm going to wear the earrings my sister wore for her 2012 wedding, they're my "something borrowed". I know it's more traditional to borrow jewelry from a parent, but mine are recently divorced and I feel like it would be bad luck. My sister and I are incredibly close and she and her husband are very happily married. It meant a lot to her when I asked if I could borrow them.

I had my great grandmothers double pearl necklace shortened and made into a matching bracelet. My mom was SUPER incessant on me wearing her hideous broach(this thing is HUGE and SUPER heavy). She cried when I said I would not wear it as a necklace so I pinned it to my flowers so it would be on me but no one could see it. She was SUPER mad that I picked the pearl necklace that has way more meaning. Legit she has the broach because of super selfish reasons. She was mad when her mom passed that she didn't get the necklace that had the cameo in it. She's the youngest of 5 daughters and the oldest got it. She was so mad about it she guilted my dad into buying her one of her own. She got plenty of things that were her mothers. She was just being petty. Legit she got a huge diamond ring that my grama wore all the time and had way more meaning to everyone.

Here's the necklace/bracelet. The jeweler spent almost 2 months hunting down a clasp to go with the era that the necklace clasp is from.

That charm is stunning! I love it.

I'm actually carrying a brooch bouquet and on it is pins from almost all the women not only in my family but in my FH's family too.

My daughter is wearing all special meaning jewelry, the pearl bracelet we gave her for graduating college, amethyst/pearl earrings her FH gave her and a diamond necklace that was from FH's parents first engagement ring.

Your charm is really pretty and will look beautiful with your wedding dress

When I was 13 the movie Titanic came out. I was obsessed with it! My dad got me one of those Avon replica necklaces that had Celine Dion’s signature on the inside of the box. I wore it to school a few times a week and even wore it to my first prom. I had that necklace forever. As an adult it didn’t come out of my jewelry box. When I had to leave my ex-husbands house in the middle of the night after having him arrested a few years ago I left everything there. During our divorce he refused to give me any of my things so if it didn’t come with me I no longer have it.

My dad knew this and bought me a replacement necklace for Christmas this year. I totally almost cried. This one doesn’t hide in my jewelry box anymore and I’ll be wearing it when I get married.
