Specialty Drinks

Amaretto Sours are one of my favorites!! Great choice!! My fiance and I are each planning on picking a signature drink, I'm sure one of us will pick an Old Fashioned, but not sure what the other one will be yet.


As far as lavender infused drinks, I would search Google. A quick search came up with a lavender martini! I've never had one, so I'm not sure how it tastes, but it sounded interesting.

Amaretto Sours are SO GOOD! I searched 'lavender cocktails' on google and some recipes that came up were: Lavender Gin Sour, Lavender Martini, Lavender Collins, Lavender Lemonade Rose.

We're only allowed one cocktail for our signature drink, so we still have to get together and discuss it. He's not a huge cocktail/liquor drinker, but I love margaritas and moscow mules.

Lavender martinis and lavender lemonades are what i have been looking at mostly. I just need to buy the ingredients and see if they taste good. I have never had lavender infused drinks

We are doing a Long Beach. It's a long island but instead of coke, it adds a splash of cranberry. Sooooo good. We will also do a dark liquor one, probably a basic Henny and coke with a splash of lime

I attended a wedding where they had an elderflower infused vodka tonic. Very simple, very tasty! I imagine elderflower can easily be substituted for lavender. You could go the gin and tonic route, too, since gin seems to work well with flowery flavors in my mind. I’ve also had a lavender mojito and lavender mimosa, both very good.

Lavender (non alcoholic) lemonade is delicious. But it's an acquired taste

Careful with flavors like lavender, rosewater, and cilantro/coriander. They can become soapy tasting to people with certain genes, or if too much is added. I think you could probably have a lavender shade drink and maybe garnish with a lavender sprig, but I don't know that I'd actually put it in the drink. Just my two cents.

I love long beaches! what a refreshing choice

Instead of doing a drink infused with lavender, maybe you could do one that is lavender colored instead. Lavender is a flavour that may not be to everyone’s taste, but something using creme de violette, violet liqueur or blue curaçao would give you the color.

I love elderflower so thats a good idea. My bridesmaids and myself are going to go to a liquor store this weekend and have some fun making new drinks. \

Thats a great idea too. I haven't thought about just coloring the water.

I have a full open bar during this time as well so people can have whatever they want but we are having a cigar roller outside and that's were our signature drinks will be too but less then 15 steps away is a full outside bar. I personally love lavender and its even one of the tiers of my wedding cake lol . Infused right into the cake with honey

We have 3 full bars on site but are setting up specialty drinks by where our cigar roller will be so people will be able to pick whatever they want. But i agree, the lemonade sounds good and its refreshing for an April wedding

I agree that the lavender color of the drink is a good idea as well.

I don’t drink alcohol so my signature drink is fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade. My fiancé LOVES Malibu & Coke!

A lavender mojito or lavender lemonade sounds amazing! Lavender is tough, though. A lot of people hate it. (I love it, but I’m allergic lol)
