Back in January 2018 my husband and I went to Disney World for the marathon weekend (we are both marathon runners). We went the week before so we could go to the parks. I knew a proposal was coming this trip but did not know when. We went to Magic Kingdom on the 4th day, where we were going to meet my mom (she came later to Orlando). We met my mom in front of Cinderella’s castle and she had a cute red Mickey balloon. My husband took the balloon and got down on one knee! My mom knew the exact plan haha. Couldn’t have been better!

My FH proposed the night before a 10 day trip to CA to visit his family. He took me to one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate my birthday early which was during our trip. Afterwards we walked the nearby waterfront and started talking about our trip. He asked what was I excited for the most (Harry Potter World, duh) and that's when he said, "I think it might be this...."

We were on vacation in Spain. It was the second to last night and we went to a Michelin starred restaurant. He said he had to go to the bathroom while we were waiting for our first course, and ce back with a bunch of waiters. One was holding the ring, one had his phone and was broadcasting to FB live and another had champagne

I hate surprises so I sat him down and asked him myself. He said yes.
We then planned a surprise announcement dinner for our parents and it was honestly more exciting to see them all get shocked and excited.
My parents nearly ruined it by asking if I was pregnant, I had gained about 10 lbs, thanks dad 🙄😆.

Wow that's amazing!

I had gotten extremely sick, but my FH told me his boss booked us a weekend in Sedona. So I loaded myself up on Dayquil and we made the 2 hour drive up to the hotel.

We were supposed to go hiking to a waterfall, but since I was so sick we just took a stroll down the creek with our dog. I was about to jump on a rock to go across the stream (guess the Dayquil kicked in by that point lol), when he stops me ... I was really confused, then he got on one knee with the ring. My reaction was to laugh & cry at the same time lol! I still think about that lol. Then he said he wished my family could be there and I turned around and my mom and sister were right behind me.

So even though he was onto Plan C, it was still an amazing moment! I literally had no clue. I noticed he had been texting people more often I even suspected him of cheating lol. Turns out he was communicating with my mom and sister about the proposal. Good times.

FH took me to a dragon lights festival with two of our very good friends. He was super dressed up but I wore my huge jacket because it was freezing. I ended up wanting to cancel because my brother and sister were having a super smash bros tournament but he convinced me we should go out. We had a really nice dinner beforehand, and we just walked around and looked at everything. At the very end he got done on one knee and all he could muster was “you look so beautiful, I love you” and he started crying and pulled out the ring. I was in shock, and thought he was joking, lol. i was very nervous at first because we are so young but I’m perfectly happy with how everything is turning out💕

I LOVE my proposal story although I'm sure it'll sound less than ideal to some.

On a Friday night before Labor Day weekend we were out at a bar having dinner and drinks with friends. he was exhausted so he went home early, I stayed out and ended up gushing about how great things were with us. got home late and kind of tipsy and climbed into bed and said "you know I think we should get married", and he, half asleep, said "let's talk about it tomorrow". The next morning we had coffee and home made pancakes and he said "you're right. I think we should get married." So we went ring shopping together! we bought my ring and his that day and it was perfect.
