My husband proposed in March of 2018 during a horse and carriage ride through Central Park in New York, NY. He asked me to walk with him to a gazebo and close my eyes. When I opened them I was surrounded by candles and a violinist was playing "A Thousand Years" as he got on one knee and popped the question.

    We are long distance (2hrs apart). We were supposed to meet to visit his father at the hospital which is about a half way point, but instead of giving me the address to the hospital it was the address to the museum close by. He said he wanted to spend some time before seeing his dad. So we strolled through the museum for almost an hour when I told him I needed to sit for a bit and he decided it was time and as I was sitting down he got on his knee and proposed. Then we went to give dad the good news😊
