SPINOFF: Did you send anyone famous a wedding invitation?

I'm pretty sure Bethie sent one to Matthew Mcconaughey!! They got a signed picture back

FH is determined to send one to Derek Jeter. He's a huge Yankees fan lol

We were going to and then time just got away from us. We did request a papal blessing from Pope Francis, we received a beautiful blessing certificate on parchment that we had framed. We took it to the reception and our guests really liked it.

We're thinking we'll send one to Greg Proops (not super famous but our favorite comedian). We listen to his podcast together every week and have seen him live together a few times.

A few sort of famous people, they've been on TV. A cousin on mine and a guy that was a acting class classmate of my ex, and dated a classmate of mine for several years. He played the father of Roz's baby on fraiser, got lazer blasted on Voyager, Had a part on Buffy for a episode, stuff like that.

Classmate who is now a sculptor in Florance Italy, and a another friend who is a bit of a celebrity in the astro physicist world.

We're sending one to the president. Usually people get a letter signed by the president and first lady, which I think is a cool memento.

I'm thinking of sending one to John Barrowman :3 I just have no idea how to get his address lol

We're sending to POTUS and Mickey & Minnie. Both apparently send back congratulatory notes.

We sent ones to Kobe Bryant and Ray Lewis, but never got anything back We also sent one to the White House and got a nice congratulatory note!

I did a post about this recently. A lot of people suggested the Mouses and Obamas. Some also said Cinderella and Prince Charming respond too.

We're doing those three plus Ed Sheeran and possibly Norman Reedus. I found their addresses just by googling them.

Mrs. B how long did it take to get the blessing? Do you know if you can also get it for a anniversary?

I want to send one to the lead singer of Paparoach, and when I googled "Jacoby Shaddix address" his record label came up for fan mail. Should I send it there??

Also going to look into sending it to our favorite comedian, Chris D'elia.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are definitely getting one from us! And I'm sure POTUS and FLOTUS will too :-)

@Lydia, yes I think you can get one for an anniversary. It took less than 2 months. I surprised my DH with it, when he opened it he was like who do we know in Vatican City? Hahaha

Ahh how fun! We will be doing Mickey and Minnie, POTUS, and a couple country singers.

For POTUS - you can also just do it online and save yourself the postage!

We sent one to POTUS AND FLOTUS and received a nice note back congratulating us on our union. It's generic but so cool!

Definitely sending one to POTUS and FLOTUS. And I'd pretty much faint if I got a response from Beyonce. Im having an adult only wedding, but I'd make an exception for Blue Ivy!! lol
