I'm saving on this...I think. My FH is taking care of this with a local flower lady. But she seems more excited about my wedding than I am and I didn't think that was possible.

I would typically say save here but I am actually spending more than I planned. I think in the end I will be very happy! We are doing garland for the tables and will not have anything else for decor so I think it will be worth it.

Definitely save. They are an unnecessary expense, especially to buy all of them as real. Why? What's the point? I'm not going to keep them, no one is going to keep them! I'd rather get silk! LOL!

Splurge a little, but not going crazy. My fiancee calls me sweet pea, so I want to incorporate some sweet peas into my bouquet and arrangements, and if they aren't in season they may cost a bit more

Save area! we have a beautiful venue so it's perfect without flowers but we will still have low centerpieces with flowers and candles. Cocktail hour will just be loose petals and votive candles on the tables. Ceremony will be minimal too

I’m splurging. It helps that I’ll only be getting one bouquet!

I haven't decided yet. Maybe save and only have a few decorations

Save! The cost of real flowers are just not worth it. Besides, artificial flowers have come a long way from what your grandma's day. Besides, if you use artificial, you can reuse them for craft projects or what not. We use my bouquet for a center piece on our dining table now. I suspect we will do something similar when we renew our vows.

    A little bit of both??!

I'm having flowers on the tables, small elevated vases at the front of the church, and small bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids.

What I saved on was the type of flowers....I chose Carnations for the bulk of the flowers in vases, centerpieces, and even in my bridesmaids' bouquets but I'm carrying a rose bouquet which was a splurge.

Honestly, I don't think guests are going no notice what kind of flowers you have. In the end I don't think it matters. I'll probably dry my bouquet and put it away but everything else is just going to be donated...so really I didn't put much thought into it.
