This is a definite save. Daughter got a steal on some lovely multi-layered DIYs. She's either going to print them herself or have them done at FedEx, etc. So far, I think she's under $25 for 100 invitations. They'll look very pretty and consistent with her colors/look, but she's absolutely on team "no one will remember, and they'll be thrown away."

I splurged. And I'm glad we did.. our invitations unintentionally set our theme.

We definitely splurged on the invitations. Part of me dies a little when i think about it but then i think about how the invitation really sets the tone of the wedding. Plus, much like our wedding/engagement pictures, this is something FH and I plan to frame and hang in our home one day so we want it to be nice and of quality.

This was also important to us, since we used our invitations to set the wedding theme. We didn't splurge much, but I think we spent more than most people did.

Our invitations were custom designed and we did gold embossing on black envelopes and tied the package with ribbon and a key charm instead of a belly band.

In the middle- we used Vistaprint and then assembled our own pocket invites using supplies from Cards&Paper. We did upgrade to the highest weight paper and used envelope liners and bellybands and all, but it was definitely not as expensive as doing something custom.

I’m gonna call it splurge, because I know I’m not going as cheap as I could. I made an appointment (in a few weeks) with a local custom designer/printer I learned about at a bridal expo! Her unit prices were more than reasonable, even inexpensive compared to Minted or Basic Invite. I can’t wait ! I love pretty paper and I think it will really help unify my theme! If all else fails, it’ll minted with a discount code all the way!

Saving. My FMIL works for a printing company. Our save the dates were amazing and we ordered 100 (with envelopes) and it came out to about $30 with her discount. We will print our invitations this way too. I love designs I’ve seen on minted but I can’t stomach paying that much

Save on invitations. Persons are going to look at these just to see a date and location, then they're not longer interested in them. Guest will remember having a chair to sit in, if the table was too crowded are how they food taste before they remember an invitation.

I wouldn't say I necessarily splurged, but I spent more than I was planning when we first got engaged (happened with a lot of stuff though). I knew invites set the tone of the wedding, and they will be included in wedding pictures.

We splurged and hired someone local who made a complete custom invitation for us. She also did calligraphy printing on all the invitations so we didn’t have to do any addressing or writing. The convenience of this plus how beautiful they turned out was well worth it in my opinion. We received a ton of compliments on them Smiley smile all we had to do was stuff the envelopes and stamp them which was great.

I splurged. In fact, invites were one of my big "splurges" that wasn't guest related. I'm a professional designer, I had to go big 😂

We are focusing our budget on on the 3Ds of a great wedding: Drinks, Dinner, and Dancing. Our invitations came up to about $6.00 each including postage. They are gold foil-pressed which can be expensive so we skipped RSVP cards and other extras. We ordered our cards from Paper Source store near home.

We're probably somewhere in the middle. My FH is very good at design so we are doing that part ourselves. However, we plan to have them professionally printed. We haven't really got to the specifics on this part yet, though.

We saved on our invitations. We went with a simple design off of VistaPrint for the invitations. For the RSVP cards, I bought some blank ones off of Amazon and printed on them myself at home.

Probably inclined to save on invitations. This will be our third and final wedding for both of us, I have had the fancy big wedding, the very simple married at the courthouse wedding, this time we are having a somewhat casual affair. Our theme is "New Beginnings" and with a spring wedding planned so in keeping it casual, invitations are not somewhere we want to splurge. A simple flat card invite with RSVPs done for the most part by phone or online replies.

Trying to save on invitations. Actually considering making my own. Thoughts? Any recommend sites to order things from for cheap?
