Are you making your own playlist or going all in with a 10 piece band? Are you splurging or saving on reception music?

Splurge on this one. It's one of the main things people will remember about a wedding.

I'm not really sure. A DJ comes with the venue we chose.

We are having a stringed trio for the hour of the ceremony and then a playlist for reception time after.

This is something I can save on. A ipod and/or computer with spotify on and some speakers will do just fine for me.

Saving. we are meeting with our preferred dj this weekend. if all goes well and we hire him, we will definitely be saving as he is cheaper than any others we looked at.

DEFINITE splurge! I didn't spend too much more than I anticipated but I think that music is so important, as it really sets the mood for your day. I want to make sure people are dancing and having a good time!Smiley smile

Hopefully saving a bit. Our old friend is a professional DJ, and if he's available the day we have the wedding he'll give us a good deal.

Definitely save. We have an IT friend and that is a helpful asset. He's going to set up the music for us in a digital format.

Saving. I'm using a CD for my walk down the aisle, and likely the same song in full when we leave. No formal reception planned.
