This week it's all about your budget! 💵 Divvying up your wedding budget can be a tough task - you can't splurge on everything, so you'll need to prioritize where to go all out and where to rein it in! I can’t splurge on anything. 30 people. We are aiming for below $10K on everything. No flowers, just lights and glass centerpieces. We are going to cook for everyone and make drinks for everyone. 40% of the budget went to a venue that will let us do all of that and doesn’t have any restrictions on time or caterers or anything else. Got my dress second hand ($600). No veil. I wish I had never started wedding planning. Everything is a complete rip off.

I splurged on the flowers and decor. Those are pretty important to me.,

Relying on my suggestions from our attendants, very stressful going to school full time w/ Student Government Activities, and my Fiance' working full time .. when we do see each other we are planning and designing the decorations for the wedding. The budget is very tight because I am in school full-time, and it is just after Christmas, but that was the most time I was off from school, and the best time to get out-of-area family and friends together also. We are both in the construction field so we are saving by creating and making our own things when we can, rather than buying and paying full price. I have a wonderfully large group of ladies and family that when they do come in, hopefully we can make short work of it all. My FIance' has a great group of guys, that will be there to help !
