St. Lucia?

Has anyone honeymooned in St. Lucia? Is it worth it? How is the weather? Are their other places that are a better Caribbean options?

Depends on what you're looking for. I've been to many islands in the Caribbean (a native) but never stayed for a long period of time in St Lucia. It's a beautiful island with lots of tropical areas to visit. Now I would not suggest going to the Caribbean during hurricane season but the other seasons are ok. Again it's all depends on the activities and which season.

We've never been but we're honeymooning in St. Lucia in February. Are you looking for something specific?? I wouldn't necessarily say any location is better than the other. They all seem great in their own way but like Vall said, it depends on the activities.

We honeymooned in St. Lucia in March and would 100% recommend! We stayed at Serenity at Coconut Bay. It was wonderful. We did two excursions but spent the rest of the day napping in a cabana / drinking in a pool. The weather was great. Warm enough for the pool during the day but very pleasant at night.

I stopped there on a cruise a few years ago. The island itself, is stunning. I was shocked at its beauty. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in the Caribbean was in st lucia. I wish I could have stayed longer and can’t wait to go back there one day. I have always dreamed of staying at jade mountain there 😌

Thanks for your reply! Not looking for something specific per say. We are up for pretty much anything. We gravitated towards there because it seemed like it has relaxation and things like hiking and other excursions.

It does! FH and I were just going over the tours and activities. A few of the things we ended up finalizing on our list comes up to about $1,500. If we had the money, we'd do more lol.

That’s a tough question because it depends on the activities one is interested in. Some islands are smaller so certain activities for ex. Hang gliding may not be available. All the islands are beautiful and unique in their own way.
You can even get a bang for your buck if you go to islands that are in close proximity to other islands. Just take a short ferry ride if you feel comfortable.
St Lucia is gorgeous so you can’t go wrong with that. You can try St Kitts, Dominica or the US and British Virgin Islands next.

I would definitely head to Jamaica, the all inclusive hotels are top notch, food is awesome and the service is great. Normally you can coordinate off site tours from your hotel ... It's my hands down choice.
