Hey everyone! I was wondering if any one has or will be getting married on St. Patrick's day? My Fiance and I got together on 3/17/16 and we were excited to see that our anniversary was set to be on a Saturday in 2018.. so we booked it! Perfect timing!

We really love the idea of incorporating St Patrick's day into our wedding. So I was wondering if any one out there has any clever ideas on how to do just that. I've attached a photo of the colors we are going with and I've also attached a photo of the inside of the venue where the reception will be held.. if that helps. Lol

Thanks!

The venue is perfect. All the wood makes it feel very "Irish pub". I think gold accents would be beautiful with white flowers and tons of greenery.

I am also getting married on St. Patrick days next year! We are still trying to figure out some subtle ways to incorporate it into our wedding.

Love your venue! I would do emeralds and golds which look fantastic together without screaming st patricks day. Guest favors would be a cute way to incorporate something with more st patricks day flare!

We had our this past saturday on the 18th with a st patricks theme. Lots of ivory, emerald green, and gold accents. We played some irish themed music and our photobioth had st patricks props for photos. Here is a pic of the girls dresses and guys tux.

And our favors were irish potatoes! And here is another pic of our sweetheaet table. Lucky in love banner, celtic champagne glasses, we had shamrock confetti on tables with ivory flowers, gold chargers, ivory linens, green uplighting. Also had an irish blessing plaque at the entrance table.

    Congratulations!

I just want to mention that this is always during Lent. Maybe you're not Catholic, but on the off chance that you are, not all churches allow you to get married during Lent.

My fiancé and I are also getting married on 3/17/18! I love the color pallet you have chosen!

We went with deep jewel tones - ruby red, sapphire blue, and emerald green. We've encouraged guests to celebrate St. Patricks Day with us by wearing green, but were aren't going heavy on the green decor.

My brother is a piper, so he's playing the bagpipes at a few pivotal moments (as a signal for seating to begin, processional/recessional, and signal for reception to begin).
