Start time too early??

Hello!

I wanted Ted to touch base with everyone to see if this is normal, or if you all think it’s a little early too. My wedding is at 4:30 on a Saturday. I have 6 bridesmaids, me, a MIL, and a FSIL getting hair/makeup done for the day. I know we need to have everything done by 2 for pictures, so the HMUA just told me that my start time is 8am... is that too early? I assumed that it would be more like 10am. Will it take that long? or is that weird? There will be more than one stylist there because of the amount of people.

We have to be st thevenue by 3 and we are starting hair at 11:30.. there are 6 of us but we also have 2 people coming to do the hair !

Our wedding begins at 5 pm, at the venue by 2 pm. HMU artist/assistant gets to my moms at 8 and first girls hair is at 8:30. Sounds right to me.

That sounds right. I was in one wedding where we were up at 7:30 getting hair and makeup done. My BMs are lucky our wedding is late and they don't have to start anything until noon.

This is making me nervous now! I need to be ready to leave the house by 11:30am and we’re starting at 7am. 6 bridesmaids, myself, my mom and one flower girl hair. There will be 2 doing hair and 1 makeup artist. I hope this is enough time!!

My start time is 12pm for a 4:30 wedding for myself, 6 bridesmaids, my mom, my FMIL, and my step FMIL. But I also have 3 stylists coming and we had to work with the venue not being available under 12 (the bridal suite is at the venue).

That's kind of normal. But they usually do the bride last. See if you can arrive an hour or two later so they can do everyone first and then you. Everyone works differently, but this is not unusual.

I personally love getting ready with everyone. That is a special morning and I would hate to miss it.

Nope that sounds pretty good. I don't have a timeline but I will probably be start pretty early too.

My start time for ceremony is 4:30 and we are starting hair/makeup at 8:30. Only 4 bridesmaids, me and my mom. 1 stylist though. We are figuring an hour for each person's hair.
