Starting to regret my dress

I got my dress and I love it, well I did at first ... I’m gunna get it fitted once it comes in, and get straps added on it , but my mom hates it, to the point of body shaming me because my body just doesn’t look good in the dress. I’m torn , what do I do? I mean I’m getting on a hard core work out and strict diet for my wedding , but it’s to the point to where she is saying that loosing weight won’t do anything because I have “ curves” ..
What do I do, and how can I stop feeling regret for my dress now?

You look amazing in that dress. I am sorry that your mother is body shaming you . . .but the dress is not the cause.

Its your day.... I'm having my dress personally made and I don't care what people say about it. It's my dress and my day. I'm a curvy woman myself and my fiance loves every bit of my curves. Enjoy your day lady!!! Love the dress 💞

Love yourself and ALL that comes with you. Curves make women feel sexy and womanly. If you are feeling a little self conscious, just get a really good body shaper to make your curves smooth. Don't let anyone, not even your mother, steal your joy at this moment.

Someone should slap some sense into your mom...Im sorry you're going through that. Your dress is beautiful. I wish I had gotten a more fitted gown - I got a ballgown. I have struggled with my weight my entire life. 12yrs ago I lost 175lbs in 9mos with diet and extreme exercise. I maintained the weight loss for 2-3yrs and then over the next 10yrs I regained 70-80lbs. Since July 6, I have lost 60lbs. I waited until I had lost 50lbs before trying on any dresses. I am wearing a size 4 jeans right now and my dress was ordered in a size 14 (Im worried its going to be too big) and I will lose another 20-30lbs before the wedding.

You will be a beautiful bride - dont le anyone take that away from you ((hug)) ❤️❤️
