So my sister just let me know that my aunt who OFFERED to host my bridal shower at her home will also be hosting a baby shower for her daughter at her home the day before. GRRRRR!!! Her daughter's baby will be almost 3 months old at the time. Wth!!!!!! This means some of my family will have to...

I think you are acting a bit selfishly TBH...a baby shower and a bridal shower are 2 very different things...if people care for both of you equally then I don't see why they wouldn't make the effort to go to both

You're not entitled to a bridal shower. Your aunt is throwing you one out of the kindness of her heart and you are complaining about how she wants to do it. I SORT OF see why you're upset but I think your perspective is way off.

The only way i would get upset is if people ended up not coming to my shower because they went to hers. . . Otherwise i dont see why it should be a big problem to have them one day after the other. .

I was completely fine with throwing the shower at my house. My aunt INSISTED this was something she wanted to do for me. At this point, im over it. I will go to both showers with my big bridal smile on my face and hope my family will make the trip to celebrate with me.
