I've been looking into a steamer for a while now because I wanted to steam my own dress and I know the good ole steam shower can do the trick but in Florida we pay for water lol so a nice LONG HOT steamy shower isn't always an option plus not so good for your skin lol
So I received two coffee makers for my bridal shower and exchanged one for a steamer in Bed Bath & Beyond and paid the difference. I feel like Conair can be a hit or miss but I'm really liking this steamer it can be a good alternative for anyone looking into it. It's $59.99, has different attachments and two simple settings, steam & turbo for the heavy garments. It uses distilled water, but just to test it I filled the reservoir with a small amount of tap, I'll be using bottled/filtered for our dresses. Initially I was looking into Salav, another brand of a steamer but hopefully this will be good enough.
Only thing is it can get a little heavy but it works in seconds. If you're looking to kill wrinkles and unwanted creases this is it! Plus it's small enough for travel in my opinion. It's coming with us on our honeymoon, we're staying local.
I wish I had taken a before pic of the shirt I tested it on but here's the after and this shirt was more wrinkled than a prune! Haha it's my nieces and I know she has a bunch of them.
