Still looking for a venue

Hello lovelies!
2025 Southern California Bride here.
So I have our colors picked out (Lavender and Mint). And I want it to be an outdoor wedding. Preferably Beach or Garden. We’re not looking for anything extravagant or huge. Honestly, we seem to be leaning more towards it just being something with our immediate family, close friends, aunts and uncles. Roughly that would bring our guest count between 35-40. We’re also budgeting. Also a reason why we aren’t looking for extravagant places.One place we’ve found is in Long Beach called “cute little chapel” Where they have an outdoor gazebo garden area. No reception spot, just a simple ceremony. (Probably go to a local park and do our own reception and cater). Another idea I have is Catalina Island, Two Harbors. That’s if we want to splurge a teensy bit.
Anyway, if anyone has any diy ideas, opinions for what season in the year to get married in (we don’t have an official date), budget tips, or just advice and ideas in general, leave a comment. 😊🤍💍
