Totally up to you based on when you are trying to start a family! To be totally honest with you, I have been on BC since I was 15 and kinda just wanted to get to know my body for a while 100% off BC. When I told hubs this he thought it was a great idea. If we get pregnant before ‘trying’, great! But at the very least I’ll have an accurate natural cycle to go by for when we do actively try and/or in case we need to refer back to it for planning if we have difficulty.
