Storing Wedding Dress Tips before wedding

I bought my lace dress as a sample back in December, and my 1st fitting was May. I just left it hanging in that garment bag they gave it to me in. It was in a closet at my future in-laws house because I couldn't store it in our place and my mom didn't have room for it. It held up fine for 5 months.

You're supposed to keep it away from the light and heat. I bought an avid free storage box (comes with acid free tissue paper) and stores it under the bead.

Mine has spent the last 7 months in a closet at a friends house. I’m almost dreading having to try it on and disturbing it.....

I bought my dress in April with first alterations in October. I'm keeping it in the bag provided and storing it at my parent's house in my old bedroom closet.

When I was dropping it off I thought how crazy it was that this same closet held my prom dress, both graduation gowns, and now my wedding dress. it brought a little tear to my eye.
