Stress eating, can’t stop

Deidra, on July 12, 2021 at 9:39 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 1 12
Hey, so I’m about 90 days out and my goal was to lose 10 pounds but I’m up 3! And I can’t stop stress eating! Part of my problem is that other people encourage me to enjoy food, and that just makes me go overboard. HELP!!’

Just try to relax!! The more you think about it, the more you’ll do it. Try listening to a guided meditation on YouTube and lay down for 10 mins each day. Or go for a nice long walk! Try to chill out as much as possible.

Hi ! I actually had an opposite reaction - I wasn't hungry before the wedding because of the stress.. So my dress became too big... - you don't want that either ;-)

Try to get busy and don't think about food only... a walk, some sports, watch or listen to something nice... And if you have snack, make it healthy !

Omg im in the same boat. I'm 30 days out and I was eating so much junk. I stopped eating the junk and replaced it with healthy food. It's not easy.

You have time, which is good. I try to not to buy junk and I eat before I go out so I make better decisions....in theory I have 15 pounds left to lose and 74 days so I know the struggle.

It's all about balance for me. I replaced my junk food at home with healthy snacks, so I'm not depriving myself of snacking but eating something better for me. Then if I feel I overate, or eat something unhealthy, I put on a podcast and go for a walk while listening. I also find that if I'm drinking more water, I'm snacking less. So I've been trying to drink a gallon a day.

Yes, that’s exactly what I need! I used to do all of those things but the last 90 days have been super tough! I appreciate your words and I can’t wait to feel better!

Drink more water and have healthy snacks I'm the fridge! I've lost 23 pounds and have 30 more to go before our wedding. Take it one day at a time! Some things that have helped me lose and keep the weight off are the GNC Lean Shakes (Swiss Chocolate flavor), blueberry Nutrigrain bars, carrots and celery with ranch dressing, and a granny Smith apple tossed with ground cinnamon.

Ok, yea I noticed today that I’m not drinking enough water. So I jumped on that and I feel a little bit better.

You'll bloat for a few days but then shed it.

I have been taking these drops for about 2 weeks now and I quickly noticed changes in my energy levels. Hypothyroidism has always made me sluggish and foggy, but these seem to alleviate those symptoms. I've decreased my calories and begun working out and have lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks which would most likely be attributed to the lifestyle change, but one difference that is significant is a loss of lower belly fat. This has been a problem area for me for a couple of years and even when I have lost weight in the past, this seems to be one of the last areas to budge. I think this product helps balance things out metabolically.

I don't know if it works for everyone, I'll just say that I personally use weight watchers when I slip into consistent bad eating habits. I'm currently using it now, because I gained weight since we postponed because of covid. It's always worked for me because it reminds me when I'm making unhealhty choices. I don't have to really "diet" with it. You want that slice of pizza for lunch? Great! But dinner needs to be salmon and veggies then to balance out. I have a hard time saying no to a block of cheese at midnight and I'm always able to explain it away as not THAT bad. But when I'm using WW I see how many points there are and wow. Put down that cheese Jenn! Anyway, just wanted to mention what was personally helping me, a big stress eater.
