Stressed Bride

Guadalupe, on March 16, 2021 at 8:47 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 11

I always heard that weeding's where a dream come true, they are, but at the same time they are so stressing ,or am I the only one feeling like that?

I have 18 days to go & I’m certainly stressed out! Today I’ve been stress eating & need to get back to my intermittent fastings. Back on that tomorrow. We have the majority of the stuff done. It’s the small details that’ll be completed the few days before the wedding.

You def are not the only one! It’s because a wedding is still such a big logistical event to plan so it can be overwhelming

Not alone. I don’t even want a big wedding anymore I’m so stressed. But when I just feel super overwhelmed I try to take a short break to regroup and then go from there!

No, you are NOT alone. Many conflicts happen around wedding planning.

I'm a bundle of nerves, a lot of the time! I went full throttle in planning at the beginning and kind of burnt myself out, especially with the inevitable issues that come along with wedding planning. My fiancé has been really good about bringing me back down to earth and reminding me to enjoy this part that we're in.

Your wedding day is HUGE - but the day after, when your marriage and life together begins, is even more exciting. Try to keep your eye on that prize!

They are definitely stressful especially if you don’t have a wedding planner. I’m too ocd to hire on though so I planned and coordinated everything on my own but will have a day of coordinator. Also, all of us planning and having a wedding during this pandemic I feel like is a heighten stress that most brides in past cannot relate too. I definitely feel this way with all my friends who got married before me. Just take it one step at a time, you got this! I’m 31 days away and ready for this day to come but will definitely we sad when it ends bc it’s a lot of planning for literally just 4 hrs lol.
