Strippers

I've never understood the need to have strippers or make the entire party about male body parts. That's the one rule I've made about my party... none of that. I'm just looking forward to hanging out with my girls. They're all married now so it's hard to get them all together otherwise.

I didnt have one, asked not to have one and that was that.

@Mrs Mash YESS! FH and me had the same exact conversation recently. It just doesn't make sense to either of us.

His BM and my MOH are both planning parties but they are actually the only ones in our bridal party besides my bother so both of them are planning more of a weekend getaway with no strippers

I went to Chippendales and he went to a burlesque show. We discussed it before hand. Honestly I wouldn't have cared if he went to an actual strip club. He's not going home with any of the dancers, nor am I! You see boobs and butts galore on HBO, in this case we were seeing them in person.

I'd be super mad! We've both discussed it and If it happened It would not be a good day! IMO If you love someone you wouldn't put yourself in that situation.

No strippers here, but that's mostly because I find it weird and impersonal. FH would probably get mad, too.

Im with Mrs. Mash. I personally think its immature and disgusting. I don't need one last hurray before getting married, and seriously question the maturity of those who do.

You should've discussed with your DH and BP prior since its such a hot topic.

Definitely not my kinda thing. My MOH knows that and will definitely not hire one.

I don't care about FH seeing strippers.

This is a question that has no right or wrong answer. It depends on the couple and what they are comfortable with. I go to strip clubs a couple times a year so I don't see going for my bach party as a last wild night before getting married cause I plan to go after getting married. FH is cool with me going cause he knows I would never do anything disrespectful. And I am cool with him going cause I know the same thing.

I have hard rules when I go to male strip clubs,, Women strippers are more respectful. No whipping your junk out at me and do not feel me up. I pay for a dance and that is all I want. I have seen some women lose all control and there is no amount of liquor in this world that could make me disrespect my relationship like that.

I don't want one but my fiancé wouldn't care if I did. His bachelor party is in several weeks and I don't care if they get strippers.

We got a stripper for my MOH's bachelorette party in Atlantic City. He was about 30 lbs heavier than in his picture and cared more about drinking with us than stripping for us. We ended up asking him to leave after an hour lol.

Neither of us care if the other goes to a strip club. We have full trust in eachother, plus strippers are impersonal and not at all intimate. I think it's way more fun to go together though!

I feel like this is a conversation that should have been had already.

Personally I don't have a problem with it. Although if I'm going to do strip clubs I'm more comfortable with women than men and I have fun hanging out and drinking and talking to the girls and just giving them some money.

I actually really like the girls who can dance and do real pole work. I have a dance friend that does pole/strip classes and she's crazy talented. and I love watching her dance. Most of the time it isn't like that though- so if people want to go it's kind of a none issue IMHO.

But my opinion and preference doesn't matter- it's between you and your significant other- THAT has to be the consensus.

I personally don't have a problem with this. I had a stripper at my party and DH gave me money. He even wrote a note on one of the bills. He didn't have one at his because his friends are too cheap and too disorganized but I wouldn't have cared. We go to strip clubs together.

The thing I don't agree with is "last fling before the ring." If people are using strippers as an excuse to do something more than just sit then and enjoy some entertainment before they get married, they shouldn't be getting married, Just because I had a stripper at my party does not mean I was looking for anything else than some entertainment.

I think strippers, male and female, are fun. I don't care if FH goes to the strip club (although I do get jealous about being left out of the fun times. We always have a blast when we go.) and he thinks the male stripper thing is probably hilarious - which it often is. I know he would never cross our "appropriate" line with a stripper and he knows that I wouldn't either.

I also don't get the "last fling" or how that translates into having a naked stranger strut his junk in front of you. Mine wouldn't be mad, he's just be genuinely confused at what alien had taken over my brains, and those of my friends.

I hope FH gets a stripper!! He's never been to a strip club and I've been to a bunch. I think it's fun. I told him I hope he gets some boobies in his face. HaHa! I most likely won't have a stripper. It will depend who's coming to the bachelorette. Some of my friends really aren't into it. I'd be fine.

I don't care as long as that stripper isn't touching my man, and he feels the same - if they're not touching me, he doesn't care. I've gone to one for my friends bachelorette and he went for his friends bachelor party. (basically a couple that were getting married, lol ) I just steer clear when they get close. I just don't care for them AT ALL. don't want them touching me. I only went for my friend and realized it is not my thing!! haha
