Stumped on favor note

Liz, on September 6, 2019 at 11:42 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4

We have flower bulbs in little white paper bags for our favors and I want to include a "thank you for sharing our day" note in with them but I have no idea what it should say. Everything I've seen that's flower or seed themed is super cheesy like "let love grow" or "plant one on us". Any suggestions? Also, should we put some planting instructions on the back of the note or do people generally know what to do with a flower bulb? Smiley laugh

Some people just leave it at "thank you for sharing our special day" instead of making it related or rhyme with the favor. I think adding some simple instructions would-be nice

    I saw one that said:

    Sow Me

    Plant Me

    Grow Me

Kinda says it all right there LOL

I like that's you for sharing our special day or thank you for watching our love blossom. I wouldn't know what to do with a bulb lol if its anything more them put it in the ground and water it, I would include instructions.

Hey Liz! This is such a sweet wedding favor idea! What flower bulbs have you chosen? Or will your guests be getting a mixture of different types?

For your thank-you note, if you don't want something cheesy like you mentioned already, then something simple is totally ok! 'Thank you for sharing our day with us' is perfect!

Instructions for the bulb would be a good idea as not all of your guests may be adept at planting or gifted with 'green fingers'! 💚
