Style Showdown: Barn or Ballroom?

This is a tough call for me. I think whichever has the biggest windows with the most amazing scenery which stinks because my venue has none of this!

I way prefer the ballroom! I've never been a big fan of the whole rustic style.

I chose a destination wedding. I'm having it in a garden with a very elegant gazebo that's not too far from the ocean

Ballroom for me! Unfortunately, it's so hard to find one in Central Pennsylvania! At least for a price that isn't astronomical!

so that being said my theme is LOTR so I think the venue would be classified as rustic between these two choices lol

I like the barn *look* more because it’s warm and welcoming with all the exposed wood. An actual barn is a bit too laid back for me though. Lucky there are plenty of barn-like venues right now because it’s so trendy.

Ballroom for us, we're not really rustic people.

Ballroom, barns have that charm, but ballrooms make me think elegance.

Ballroom for me! Unless the barn is full of string lights.

Can I pick something in between? My wedding is by no means black tie formal but I'm not a big fan of all the burlap barn stuff lately...I'm going to say a nice indoor ballroom-esque venue with the indoor/outdoor feel of a barn!
