Style Showdown: Grande or Intimate?

With a guest list of 150, we are trying to find a middle ground. I definitely prefer and love an intimate feel, but we are blessed to have such large families and amazing friends.

Intimate but with the grande scenery.

Somewhere in the middle. Fiancé has a very big family and we are all very close.

I would say somewhere in the middle around 100 guests were expecting to show. I would like to personally say hi to everyone. That was important to me.

Intimate, we are only expecting about 50 guests to be in attendance at our wedding.

I always pictured grand when I was younger, but it's going to be intimate, but we're okay with it!

Definitely intimate! Something about the huge crowd just feels disingenuous to me.

Grand! It’s too hard to have a intimate wedding with such huge families

In this case, probably something in the middle

Compared to my siblings, who had 30-60 guests at their weddings, my guest list of 120 seems huge to family. Over half of our list is his family alone, with aunts, uncles cousins and whatnot so it will feel more intimate.

In the middle, about 125

Intimate for sure. Only close family and friends, maybe 50 at most.

That's a great number!! Was it hard to come up with your guest list?

I wanted more intimate even considered eloping as this is my second marriage. He wanted to have a “real” tradiontal wedding for his mom so I guess we can say it’s in the middle with max 80 people. Hopefully it won’t be any more than that. Ours is on the top of a mountain at a ski slodge so super excited for the beautiful scenery and views while I marry my best friend!

Grand because we have a lot of friends and family. Intimate is always nice you get to spend quality time with all your loved ones.
